Editor: This is an Antoninianus of Probus, a coin from ancient Rome, now at the Harvard Art Museums. It's a small, weathered thing, but I see figures on both sides. What do you make of it? Curator: A whisper from the past, isn't it? I see the emperor, of course, and then Victory, offering a globe, power in her palm. It speaks to the weight of leadership, the burden of empire, all pressed onto a tiny disc. Editor: So, power and responsibility? It’s interesting to think about something so small carrying so much meaning. Curator: Exactly. It makes you wonder, doesn't it, what stories it could tell if it could speak? Editor: I'm definitely seeing more than just an old coin now. Thanks!
