Editor: This is Robert Zakanitch's "Double Geese Mountain." I see a lot of floral imagery and some abstract shapes that I guess are the geese. What do you see in this piece? Curator: Notice how the "geese" evoke a sense of duality, almost a yin and yang. It reminds me of ancient symbols of balance and harmony, echoed by the floral patterns suggesting growth and cyclical renewal. How do these combined symbols make you feel? Editor: I think it's pretty cool how Zakanitch uses these simple shapes to reference deeper ideas. It makes me think about how we use images to remember things. Thanks!
