These visual relationships are at the heart of its aesthetic impact. Do you see how the consistent void spaces enhance the perceived geometry, creating order? Editor: Yes, I can see that! I was so focused on the overall design, I didn’t appreciate how the structure contributes. But without any context, how does this transcend simple craft? Curator: A good question. What makes this more than craft is in its success. The effectiveness and strength with which it exploits fundamental design principles: repetition, balance, rhythm.
