Rodrigo Franzao's 'Organelle 7' is, to me, like a micro-world held within a box, a vibrant green field with a red frame, like an otherworldly garden. I imagine Franzao carefully placing each element. There's this network of fine lines, almost like branches or maybe synaptic connections, punctuated by tiny amber nodes. I wonder if he was thinking about growth, structure, and the beauty of natural forms when he made this. It’s intriguing how the lines cast delicate shadows, adding depth to the piece. The surface is textured, with these subtle drips that suggest time and process. It reminds me of other artists who explore organic forms and systems, like Hilma af Klint’s botanical drawings or even some of Agnes Martin’s grid paintings. Ultimately, art's a conversation, right? Each work builds on what’s come before, inspiring new ways of seeing and thinking. This one is like a little poem about the interconnectedness of things.
