The woman in the image wears a hat, but next to her in the back seat, a dog is looking out the window with the same expression she has. It’s so quiet, so still. It makes me think of Larry Clark’s photographs. They're both raw, and in a way, kind of melancholic. Is it just me? Anyway, I think what’s so interesting about this is how it makes you feel so many things at once.
