This 18th-century Chinese blue and white porcelain dish, known as a "Dish," is an excellent example of the popular "Kraak" ware. The dish, now in the Minneapolis Institute of Art, features a central scene of a group of musicians playing instruments in a landscape setting, surrounded by eight smaller vignettes depicting various landscapes. The intricate design and vibrant blue color, achieved through the underglaze technique, make this "Dish" a highly desirable piece of Chinese porcelain from the Qing dynasty.
