Observe the radiating lines emanating from the star at the center, countered by the orthogonal arrangement of stones above, creating a fascinating juxtaposition, would you agree? Editor: Absolutely, and I see that echoed in the juxtaposition between the very linear design and the flowing ribbons at the top. Is there a specific visual language used to draw focus to particular aspects, given there is little tonality? Curator: Consider how Mignot uses varying line thickness and density. Darker, heavier lines define the main contours and structural elements of the pendant, asserting the core shapes. Then the finer, lighter lines, serve to embellish and denote the textural details.
