Leandro Gagliardi's "Saint Andrew" is a gilded bronze sculpture from 1765-1766. The sculpture depicts Saint Andrew, one of the twelve apostles, standing with his cross. The figure is depicted with a muscular build and a flowing drapery, giving it a sense of dynamism. The work is characteristic of the Rococo period and displays a highly ornate and detailed style, making it a stunning example of Italian Rococo sculpture. This sculpture is currently housed in the Art Institute of Chicago.
