It is as if she’s both grounded in reality and adrift in the cosmos simultaneously. Does that resonate with you at all? Editor: It does. It makes me think about how we all have these invisible landscapes inside us. The contrast between the realism of the face and the abstract elements is really powerful. Curator: Precisely! It’s that juxtaposition that creates tension and invites us to contemplate what it means to be human. What are your impressions of the colors and their placement? Editor: I'm drawn to how the colors feel both chaotic and somehow harmonized, as if they’re different emotions all swirling together.
