Oleksandr Aksinin made this mind-bending Gospel with what looks like coloured inks and a steady hand. I can only imagine the focus it took to create this diamond-shaped world of hidden compartments and secret passageways. I find myself wondering, what was he thinking as he laid down each line? I bet he felt like an architect of dreams, constructing a space where the mechanical meets the ethereal. Look at how he uses red, green, and blue to create depth and shadow, almost like a stage set. My eye keeps getting drawn to those floating wings. Are they a symbol of hope, a longing for escape? And what about those strange, spinning tops scattered throughout the composition? Are they little moments of playful absurdity? Aksinin wasn’t afraid to mix it up, and that's what makes his work so darn captivating. It’s like he's inviting us to piece together our own gospel, one wild image at a time.
