Gérard Bianchi is a French photographer and scholar known for his photographic documentation of medieval art and architecture. His work was essential for the study of sculpture in ivory and goldsmith work, particularly the "Cover of the Sacramentary of the Cathedral of Roda" (10th century) as seen in his photo-book "Sculpture en ivoire et orfévrerie."
