Biography
Carlo Sacchi (1616-1707) was an Italian painter and draughtsman who was born and died in Pavia. He was known for his work in the Baroque style and he was a prolific draughtsman. He also excelled at rendering the human form. His drawings often depicted scenes from the Bible and the lives of the saints, and he was known for his careful attention to detail and his ability to create a sense of depth and movement in his work.
