This anonymous etching, "Fontein met drie verdiepingen," (Fountain with Three Floors), depicts an elaborate Baroque fountain. The fountain features three tiers, with a cherub at the top pouring water into a bowl, and two figures on either side, seated upon a shell and pouring water. The fountain sits before a backdrop of classical buildings. The etching's detailed rendering of the fountain's intricate design showcases the popularity of Baroque architecture in the Netherlands.
