Pierre Alechinsky made this print; I don't know exactly when, but it’s a real dance of ink on paper. The way the lines squiggle and swarm, it's like watching thoughts take shape. There's a ghostly figure emerging, those green eyes piercing through the haze. It's as though the subconscious is spilling out, all in this raw, immediate way. You can almost feel the artist's hand moving, the pressure of the tool, the speed of the gesture. That red, it's not just a colour, it’s a pulse. Looking at it, I’m reminded of Cy Twombly, this shared love of the messy, the scribbled, the unfinished. Art's not about answers, it's about the questions we ask along the way, and this piece is just full of them.
