"De jeugd die trap voor trap / word aangezet in 't leeren / Vind hier door zoete schets / haar leer-lust te hernieuwen," is a 19th-century Dutch broadside created by Jan Hendrik de Lange, a book printer from Deventer. This work is a series of 20 woodcuts, each depicting a different aspect of learning and knowledge. The images are presented in individual frames, creating a sense of organization and structure. The images themselves are simple yet effective, depicting everyday scenes that would have been familiar to the viewers of the time. This work is housed in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
