This 18th-century "Onderschotel" (saucer) is a prime example of Dutch Delftware, crafted in Loosdrecht around 1775. The saucer features a white porcelain base decorated with a delicate purple-pink paint that outlines figures in a landscape setting. The rim is accented with a gold-trimmed green border, adding a touch of elegance to the simple design. This saucer is now part of the Rijksmuseum collection, showcasing the artistry of Dutch ceramic production.
