Kazimir Malevich made this abstract composition to conjure a 'feeling of the current' using telegraphy. The simple geometric shapes and stark contrasts make the work seem mechanical and yet, you sense Malevich is seeking something deeper. The solid black semi-circles, rectangles and lines, suspended in the blank space, create an uncanny sense of visual rhythm, like a code. He has arranged these elements with such precision that each shape seems to vibrate with its own hidden frequency. It's as though he’s trying to capture the intangible, the invisible energy that flows beneath the surface of reality, like the crackle of electricity or the pulse of a distant signal. Malevich makes me think of Hilma af Klint, and her pursuit of spiritual truths through abstract form. Both were pioneers, venturing into uncharted territory, driven by a desire to reveal the unseen forces shaping our world. It reminds us that art can be a kind of translation, a bridge between the known and the unknown.
