This Worcester Royal Porcelain Company Jug from c. 1775 is a fine example of English porcelain. The jug features a white ground with elaborate floral decoration in bright colors, delicate gold details, and a molded, leafy design on the body. The design draws inspiration from the Rococo style, which was popular at the time, and this jug would have been a prized possession for any wealthy home. The Jug is currently held at The Art Institute of Chicago.
