I see not just bricks and mortar, but the very soul of Baroque ambition striving for an earthly reflection of heavenly order. Look at that sharp perspective – it's practically yelling, "Behold the power and glory of Würzburg!" I can almost feel the pressure, that relentless drive for symmetry that defines the age, but there’s life too, a theatre unfolding on the stage of the square. I wonder, do you sense a tension between this imposing architecture and the flurry of ordinary people going about their day? Editor: That tension is exactly what I'm picking up on! The architecture feels...controlling, almost. But then you see the little figures and there is movement. Does that tension serve a purpose? Curator: I believe it does, ingeniously.
