Composition 

Leonard Quentin created this abstract ‘Composition’ using bold color blocks and stark lines. Immediately striking is the dark lattice that dominates the center, its geometric rigidity offset by the thin, erratic lines that stretch across the frame. The overlay of a rigid structure with chaotic lines creates a sense of controlled disruption, a hallmark of mid-century abstraction. Quentin’s emphasis on geometric forms and their juxtaposition reflects a broader engagement with structuralist ideas.
