This sheet of black and white film, "Hershey story 9," was created by Robert Frank. When I look at the images, I imagine Frank holding the camera, trying to find the right moment. It’s a series of images, not just one perfect shot, so it feels like he's building a narrative through time. It's like he's saying something about how we experience events, not just what the event is. I bet Frank saw each frame as part of a larger story, a collection of moments that together create a feeling or an idea. Frank's work reminds me that art isn’t just about capturing a single, perfect image; it’s about the process, the journey, and how we piece together meaning from fragments of experience. He’s in conversation with all of us artists, saying, "Hey, let’s look at the world in pieces and see what we can make of it together."
