Camilla d’Errico made "Professor Love", and right away you can tell that she's not afraid to go all in with color. It’s like she’s saying, “Let’s make the process visible, let's have some fun!" The texture is so tangible, you can almost feel the soft fur of the panda. Look closely at the eyes – one blue, one pink – it's a beautiful clash! Each brushstroke seems deliberate, building up layers of color to create depth. The tie, with its tiny hearts, is just the sweetest detail. d’Errico's work reminds me a little of Yoshitomo Nara's, especially in the way they both capture this mix of cuteness and melancholy. Art's not about having all the answers, it's about sparking conversations.
