Alfred Freddy Krupa created this image using photography, a process of light and time. It’s all monochrome here, which isn't really about 'lacking' color, but more about seeing the nuances of light. I’m really drawn to the composition. The photo feels incomplete or maybe 'in process', which I think is amazing. It’s like a half-finished sculpture wearing jeans, with the scene being this odd mix of raw and refined. It brings a sense of temporality and fragility. The background and lighting definitely add to that feeling. You know, this kind of juxtaposition reminds me a little of Robert Mapplethorpe, but with a much rawer, less polished edge. It's this really cool blend of vulnerability and strength, and it leaves so much open to our own interpretation. Like, what's the story here? What’s going to happen next? And isn’t that what art is all about anyway?
