This 1615 engraving by Boëtius Adamsz. Bolswert, titled "Portret van Frederik V, koning van Bohemen," depicts Frederik V, the King of Bohemia, in a three-quarter length portrait. Frederik V is dressed in elaborate, finely detailed clothing, including a large ruff, and a sword at his side. The king is standing in front of a dark background, which is partially obscured by a draped curtain, and rests his left hand on a table. The work is a fine example of the Dutch Baroque style. The engraving is currently on display at the Rijksmuseum.
