Edme de Boulonois created this etching, *Portret van Simon Vouet*, in 1682. The portrait depicts the French painter Simon Vouet, who was active in the early 17th century, with a detailed and realistic depiction of his face and clothing, captured in the signature style of the Baroque period. The etching is now housed in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
