Editor: So, this is a Drachm of Mosses of the Bisaltai(?), we don't have the date for it, made by Ruler Mosses. It's tiny, about 3.3 grams. It’s impressive that something so small could carry so much significance. What do you see in this piece? Curator: It's a whisper from the past, isn't it? Look at that horse, almost leaping off the surface. Do you notice the primitive, almost urgent quality to the engraving? It speaks to me of a culture that valued strength and freedom, distilled into this portable form. Editor: Absolutely, the horse seems so full of life, even on this small coin! I hadn't thought about its portability before. Curator: These weren't just transactions; they were tiny billboards, proclaiming identity and power. Each strike of the die was a miniature performance, echoing through time. And what stories it could tell, if only coins could talk. Editor: It’s amazing how much a tiny coin can tell us about the past. I’ll definitely look at currency differently now. Curator: Me too, it is all about considering a new perspective.
