Editor: This untitled print by Gordon House, from the Tate collection, is such a curious piece with its geometric shapes. The blue background really makes the red and black pop, but there's something almost unsettling about its precise, yet slightly off-kilter, symmetry. What do you make of it? Curator: It reminds me of a blueprint for a utopian city that never quite materialised. The colours are so precise, almost cold, yet the slight imperfections – that hand-drawn quality – hint at a human element. I find myself wondering about the artist's intentions. Do you think he was celebrating order, or critiquing its limitations? Editor: That's a fantastic point! I hadn't considered the tension between order and imperfection. It's definitely something I'll look at differently now. Thanks! Curator: My pleasure. The best art always leaves you with more questions than answers, doesn't it?
