Grote villa in Simpangampat 1914 - 1919

The way the light hits the building, it almost makes the villa look like it’s breathing. You can almost feel the warm air and hear the sound of nature all around. It’s as though the photographer is asking us to consider our place in the world. How this place might relate to other places and other times.
