Editor: This is William Byrne's "Wickham from the Marlow Road." It's quite serene, almost idyllic, with that distant town and grazing cows. What do you see in it? Curator: It's got that classic picturesque quality, hasn't it? Byrne's really playing with light and shadow, creating depth. I find myself wondering, were those cows really there, or were they added to enhance that pastoral feel? Maybe that's the magic of landscape prints. Editor: That's a great point! I hadn’t thought about how constructed these images can be. Curator: Exactly! It makes you question the line between reality and artistic license, doesn't it?
