Editor: This is Lee Chun-Yi’s "Sunrise on Towering Peaks," part of the "Sacrifice" series. I'm drawn to the gridded effect over the mountains. What symbolic weight do you think the artist is trying to convey here? Curator: The grid, seemingly a modern imposition, abstracts the sublime mountain range. Do you think it diminishes the natural wonder, or does it perhaps add another layer of meaning? Editor: I think it both diminishes and adds. It's like a digital filter, but what does it signify? Curator: Perhaps it represents the human desire to categorize, to control nature's vastness through imposed order. It's a poignant comment on our relationship with the natural world, isn't it? Editor: Yes, that tension between control and appreciation is definitely there. It's made me think about the impact of technology on our perception of nature.
