"Kopier efter oldkristne mosaikker, samt notater om farverne" (Copies after Early Christian Mosaics, and Notes on Colors) is a study in watercolor by Danish artist Niels Larsen Stevns, created between 1902 and 1905. The work is a collection of sketches inspired by early Christian mosaics, depicting figures in various poses and architectural elements in a style reminiscent of the Byzantine period. The work is an example of Stevns' interest in historical art and the study of color and composition, and his approach to capturing the essence of Byzantine art through his own interpretations. The work is currently in the collection of the SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst.
