"Kinder-deugden en gebreken" (Children's Virtues and Vices) is a series of 20 woodcuts created by Dutch artist Jacob Plügger between 1806 and 1830. This artwork is a "Bilderbogen" (picture sheet) which was a popular form of visual media in 19th-century Germany and the Netherlands, often depicting moral tales or stories. This particular artwork shows children engaged in different scenarios that highlight good and bad behavior. The scenes are framed in individual squares, creating a visually appealing and easy-to-follow narrative. The artwork is currently housed at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
