Andrey Remnev made Chiromancy, but we don't know exactly when or what with. It feels like a mystical moment captured in paint, doesn’t it? I imagine Remnev starting with the central figure, that yellow jacket like a beacon, drawing the eye. Then, those symmetrical figures on either side, heads bowed, hands hovering, as if reading a hidden story. The colour palette feels deliberate—that muted gold against the darker background, creating a sense of otherworldly glow. You can almost feel the artist's hand moving slowly, carefully, building up layers of meaning, hint by hint. Maybe he was thinking about fate, about the unknown, or about the stories we tell ourselves. I feel like I'm there in his studio. There is a timeless quality to Remnev's painting style, echoes of earlier masters, yet it feels uniquely his. Isn’t it amazing how painting lets us have conversations with the past? It is a constant source of inspiration, sparking new ideas, new ways of seeing.
