Think of those cubes as cages, perhaps containing relics or preserved memories – symbols of containment or observation? Notice the "Kapelle" in the title - chapel in German. It suggests a sacred space violated, doesn't it? Perhaps the ‘roadside chapel’ hints at disrupted pilgrimage, broken traditions? Editor: I hadn’t considered that! So, it's not just a snapshot of chaos, but a commentary on cultural fragmentation and maybe even the loss of meaning? The 'Aftermath' idea hinted in 'Nachfolger'! Curator: Exactly.
