Cordial glass c. 1870

This Cordial glass box, created around 1870 by an unknown artist, is a beautiful example of decorative arts from the 19th century. The box is made of wood and is inlaid with intricate marquetry, showcasing the skill of the maker. Its elegant design features a hinged lid that opens to reveal a set of glass decanters and shot glasses, each adorned with intricate gilded accents. The box is currently housed at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
