"Man lopend met twee krukken" (c. 1770) is an etching by Dutch artist Pieter (II) Langendijk. The print depicts a man, possibly a cobbler, walking with two crutches. His worn clothing and the inscription below the image, "Maak Schoenen fchoon," suggests the work is a satirical commentary on poverty and manual labor. The etching's small dimensions (135 x 116 mm) were common for satirical prints of the time, making them easily distributed. While Langendijk is known for his portraiture, "Man lopend met twee krukken" shows his ability to capture the social realities of his time with sharp wit and visual detail.
