Alfio Giuffrida’s ‘Natura Exp17’ looks like it came into being through sheer curiosity, with trial and error building a world. I wonder if Alfio was thinking about flowers, landscapes, or maybe even just pure shapes when he started? The balance between sharp lines and soft curves creates a push and pull that keeps your eye moving. The blues and greens are like sky and grass, but then those linear structures come in, like someone’s built an antenna on the landscape. It's interesting how he lays down the paint, flat and deliberate, almost like he's building with colour. Painting is like having a conversation across time – one artist tossing an idea to another, seeing where it lands. It's not about having all the answers, but about staying open to the questions.
