This small portrait of an unknown young woman was made with an automatic photography machine. I like to imagine the artist, if you can call them that, standing back and letting the machine do its thing. It’s interesting how even in the most automated process, you can still sense a human touch and some happy accidents. Like that little smudge on the bottom of the photo or the way the light catches her face – these imperfections add to its character. I can almost feel the texture of the photograph and the faint smell of old paper. It reminds me that art isn’t just about skill; it’s about how we see and feel the world, even through a machine's eye. It's a conversation between the artist, the subject, and the tools they use, creating a unique and fleeting moment.
