This "Mug" from 1870-1880, by Adams and Company, is a beautiful example of pressed glass. The translucent green glass with a textured surface, composed of small, raised, round "dots", and a simple handle, create a unique and aesthetically pleasing aesthetic. It was created by the Adams and Company, known for their beautiful glass creations during the 19th century. The mug is currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
