"F. J. Leth" is an 1834 engraving by Danish artist David Monies (1812-1894) depicting Danish politician Frederik Ludvig Leth. The artwork is a fine example of portraiture, showcasing Leth seated in an armchair, holding a book. The detailed rendering of the sitter's features and clothing, and the use of light and shadow to create depth, demonstrates Monies' skill. This work is currently held at the SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst.
