Christoffel van Sichem II created this woodcut print, titled "Twist tussen de kerkvaders over het heilig sacrament" - Dispute among the Church Fathers over the Holy Sacrament - sometime before his death in 1658. The composition is divided horizontally, with a theological assembly in the clouds above, and a council of Church Fathers gathered below.
