This is a drawing by Rembrandt van Rijn, depicting a farmhouse with a tree in the front and a figure bending down. The artist is well known for his dramatic use of light and shadow and detailed rendering. Though this drawing is relatively simple, it demonstrates the skill and attention to detail that made Rembrandt one of the greatest artists of the Dutch Golden Age.
