This cylindrical vase, dating from around 1700-1724, is an example of blue and white porcelain, a popular style in the 18th century. The vase features a powder blue glaze and panels decorated with figures and animals in landscapes, executed in underglaze blue. The design of this vase is characteristic of the Chinese export porcelain, which was highly sought after in Europe at the time. This piece is now part of the Rijksmuseum collection.
