"Rust op de vlucht naar Egypte met engelen, Johannes en Elisabeth" is a black and white etching by Dutch artist Etienne Baudet, created between 1648 and 1711. The scene depicts the biblical event of the Flight into Egypt. Mary and Joseph, with the baby Jesus, are surrounded by angels and accompanied by John the Baptist and Elizabeth. Baudet's etching is characterized by its detailed rendering of figures and landscape, and its strong use of light and shadow. The artwork, framed by a decorative oval border, is a fine example of 17th-century Dutch etching, a popular art form of the time.
