Armchair back 1754 - 1756

This French Rococo armchair, created by the Beauvais workshop between 1754 and 1756, is a fine example of 18th-century design. The chair's intricate carvings and elegant curves, typical of the Rococo style, are enhanced by the richly patterned upholstery. The delicate floral motifs and a central scene of birds in flight on the back cushion add a touch of whimsy to the design.
