Editor: Here we have Harold Edgerton's "Shooting the Apple." It's this incredible, frozen moment of impact. So violent, yet…beautiful, almost? What's your take? Curator: For me, it's a visual poem about time itself. Edgerton gives us the impossible – a glimpse into a sliver of a second, usually invisible. He's less interested in violence, and more in the possibilities of technology. It makes you wonder, what other hidden wonders are unfolding around us all the time? Editor: So, it's about unlocking the unseen? I like that! It gives new meaning to something we might have thought we understood. Curator: Precisely. Art is always about seeking the unseen!
