"Ladle" is a silver ladle created by American silversmith William Cleveland between 1800 and 1820. The piece is currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The elegant, elongated design of the ladle features a wide, rounded bowl and a slender, gracefully curved handle that ends in a simple, rounded end. Cleveland's work is known for its refined simplicity and this ladle is a fine example of his craftsmanship.
