"En gøende jagthund" (A Barking Hunting Dog) is a bronze sculpture created in 1900 by Lauritz Jensen (1859-1935) and is currently housed at the SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen. The sculpture depicts a hunting dog in mid-bark, its body tense and alert, its tail raised, and its paws set firmly on a rocky base. Jensen was a Danish sculptor known for his realistic animal sculptures, and this piece is a testament to his talent for capturing the dynamic energy of his subjects.
