"L'Ecce Homo" is an etching by French artist Jean Morin, created between 1605 and 1650. The print depicts a powerful and emotive portrayal of Jesus Christ, crowned with thorns and bound with ropes, a dramatic representation of the "Ecce Homo" ("Behold the Man") moment in the Passion of Christ. Morin’s use of chiaroscuro, a technique emphasizing strong contrasts between light and dark, heightens the sense of drama and suffering in the image. The print is currently housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
