What do you make of this depiction? Curator: It’s interesting, isn't it? Bonatti captures a certain arrogance, or perhaps just confidence, in Caligula's stance. The raised hand, the laurel wreath – it's all very deliberate. But, for me, it's also about the way history remembers people, and how artists play into that narrative.
